Provider Consulting Solutions, Inc. (PCS) believes training is
a crucial element in developing the expertise and skills required
for compliance, management, leadership, and organization needed
in a complex, multifaceted healthcare industry. The continuing development
of policies and regulations creates new challenges to PCS’ personnel,
requiring constant update and enrichment of their knowledge and
skills.
All employees must be aware of the confidential nature of PCS’
work and are required to complete our HIPPA training course and
exam after hire. In addition, each staff member is required to read,
understand and sign the current policy of Security Guidelines established
by PCS.
PCS’ staff is also encouraged, and in the case of our certified
coders and compliance professionals required, to attend either training,
professional development, or career development programs as they
are considered important ways to enhance levels of expertise within
our company. PCS’ staff is additionally reinforced by on-the-job
application of skills acquired by outside development and training. PCS
understands the need and purpose of staff development, not only
to excel in the healthcare industry, but to remain knowledgeable
and compliant.
